Jade Reid

Jade's been around the farm for more than 25 years! Annie and Jade started dating in 1996 and got married in 2004. Together they have four children. Aubrie, Everett, Ollie, and Edie.

Jade is a professional land surveyor in Shelbyville, IL. He has had his own business, Hammond & Reid Land Surveying, for almost 12 years. When he isn’t working Jade enjoys afternoons at our family pond, dates with Annie, and binging catamaran YouTube videos. If you know Jade, you know he loves people and he instantly becomes your friend.

One of his favorite things at the farm is when the cattle get moved to a new pasture. They run and kick and get so excited to be on fresh grass. It’s just the best to see how happy they are.
